Welcome to Tommy Wardle Roofing Supplies Tommy Wardle Ltd is a small local friendly business (if you catch Ellen on a good day!) based in Birtley, County Durham which specialise in flat roofing supplies to the public as well as trade. We are a stockist of a number of manufactures; Tommy Wardle has over 40 years experience in supplying roofing materials.
We supply products for both pour and roll applications; high performance torch applied waterproofing systems and underslating membranes the majority of which are BBA approved.
Chesterfelt, IKO, and Axter are a few of the different manufactures which we supply.
For flat roofing we have an extensive range of products include bituminous waterproofing membranes for flat roofing applications, these specialist products use modified bitumen APP and SBS, which offer added flexibility and longer life. These membranes are used in multilayer systems and are therefore ideal for both new build or refurbishment projects.
We do supply various Bostik and Cromar tinned solutions in 5lt and 20lt sizes such as Primer, Roofing felt adhesive encase of needing quick repair.
We mainly specialise in flat roofing, but we are a stockist of Marley Eternit tiles and CDB slates which carry a 30 year guarantee, with John Brash laths and nails.
Local deliveries can be arranged at a small charge.
